photo of my late friend Annie and me

This is the first painting I did after Annie passed away. It stays in the corner of the room to remind me to be that artist and "bloody paint!"

TEASELS,POTS AND THE BIRD

This little photo is of Annie and me; she died on New Year’s Day 2020. She was that person in my life who was an utter inspiration, a marvel of positivity and fun. I miss her terribly. After her death, when I was too sad to move, Annie told me to get a bloody grip and paint. So I did. I painted and I painted. I am this artist, and I run these art classes because of her belief in me.

Annie, painted on an old bit of fencing, it was all I had!
