I love to inspire novice or nervous artists to lose themselves for a while and play freely with paint, without rules, without judgment, to express not impress.
​I run 4-week contemporary acrylic classes for groups of 4 in my working studio and I also hold weekly ongoing sessions for developing artists who previously completed my 4-week acrylic course.
​Classes run during the day and evening at:

I provide absolutely everything. You do not need any experience!!

Join me in my studio for 2 full days of creativity and joyous mess!
I share my techniques, hacks, tips, knowledge...and my tea and my cakes!
I provide you with absolutely everything you need, I'll even give you permission to make as much mess as me. You just bring yourself, some lunch or grab it from the cafe over the road or we can all go round to the pub next door!
Let me show you just what you can do as I guide you through the elements and principles that really matter, nothing heavy but you'll see they make sense and together with a large dose of 'yes you can', you'll discover how to create wonderful depth to your artwork, worthy of any wall!

Whether or not you have any experience is unimportant, I treat each of you as individuals and give you the support you need. Don't compare yourself to anyone else, it's your experience that matters. My promise to you is that you can, honestly, you can create wonderful art.
There is no drawing involved, no planning, nor sketching, no copying, no muse, no real things to look at... it's all from your imagination, your memories, and your idea of what you want your painting to look like. I'm just there to show you how and to make you lots of cups of tea.

2 x 40x40cm MDF boards
Dry media, acrylic paints, palettes and use of 'specialist tools' of the trade,
plus a selection of goodies to keep.
Framing is available on the day should you wish, all handmade locally to elevate your painting to wall-worthy artwork (additional £40)

2 DAY WORKSHOP
CONTEMPORARY ACRYLIC PAINTING
4-WEEK COURSE
Something very different, learn about a wonderful way with acrylics, about colour, design, being brave with paint, and creating spontaneously without any plans or sketches.

Classes run weekly, from the start date.

DEVELOPER SESSIONS
The sessions are for those who have already attended my 4 wk course and want to develop their own style with my guidance. I continue to provide all materials.
There are no current spaces available.
ONE-TO-ONE SESSIONS
1-2-1 guidance and tutoring, let me show you that you CAN.

Dates and times are negotiable to suit us both, please give me plenty of notice so i can juggle a bit.
​
Sessions are 4, 5 or 6 hours and include all materials and lunch/refreshments.
​
I don't offer less than 4 hours as the process takes quite a while and there is a lot of mess to make.
