A happy little painting of 3 tulips in an imagined glass bowl that evolved from experimentation and play. I just love what happened, so I went with it!
Created with my typical limited palette over scribbles and mark-making. Using my trusted metal scrapers, I shave each of the many layers of paint to reveal hidden delights, visual impact, and a gloriously smooth surface. It's finished with a delicious cold wax buff and polish, and floated in a bespoke white wooden frame.
This piece has become one of my little favourites!
