Glass Half Full 40x40cm Acrylic on MDF Float Framed

Evolving from a demo board, it started as a simple composition with none of the fussiness. In my head, it is my favourite hellebores picked from under the garden hedge — maybe, dropped into a little glass tumbler because that’s what would’ve been lying around.
But honestly, I completely made it up as I went along. The story is untold, but the history is all there: the work, the shifts, the layers. I didn’t draw it out and colour it in — that’s not my way. It grew on the board, mark by mark, in the moment.
