In the spring I’m always dreaming of living by the sea or somewhere other than where I am, somewhere I can walk for miles and miles, clearing my head with sea breeze and salt. 
This painting evolved whilst I was in one of those moods… it isn’t of anywhere in particular, though it’s utterly British I know that. It’s a blustery coastal town that soothed my soul that week, so I stayed awhile.
