Seasonal Half Day Workshops

Service Description

These half-day workshops follow the seasons loosely and instinctively. Each one has a simple theme to give us a starting point, but from there it’s about process, curiosity, and seeing where your paint takes you. ​ We’ll work in a small group, using techniques I’ve developed over years of painting. Layering, scraping back, scribbling, pushing, and pulling will help you loosen up and trust your brush. ​ The workshops are designed to give you a taster of how to paint differently, with a more forgiving and achievable approach. They are not designed for you to copy what I do or produce a finished, polished piece of art. It’s about learning how to build a painting, work with it, and enjoy the process of making something that feels honest. ​ Come for one. Come for a few. Each session stands alone, but together they form a nice little rhythm through to the summer. All levels welcome. No pressure. Just paint, and if it’s your first time painting in years, you’re very welcome! ​
